I bet a lot of you guys have heard of the AllMalaysiaN Bloggers Project. I have linked them down there on the right for a pretty long time.. The thing is I always forget to check their website for events.. bummer.. but it's not like I can go anywhere anyways.. still underage.. =.=

Anyways.. I finally decided to pay their website a visit today and lo and behold! A contest!!
I'm feeling like an "I want something free" mood so I'm gonna give it a shot... although I am the unluckiest person on earth when it comes to contests...

The title.. is "Stop and Stare".

That song comes of their album Dreaming Out Loud .. which I think is a very very nice title..
Sounds soo... dreamy...
ok anyways...


If you would kindly go to you local music store and look for a cd cover that looks like that... buy it and take a listen... it's awesome.. I would buy it myself but I've burned a hole in my pocket and Mummy said she's not gonna buy me anything except meals and educational books until after SPM.

The cover looks magical doesn't it.... *stop and stares*

Sooo... I'm suppose to talk about One Republic now... hmmm
Let's talk about the first time I heard their song... the infamous "Apologize"..
If you haven't heard this song then there's something wrong with you...
In case you didn't realize.. Apologize sounds like this...



..or either the version with Timbaland in it but personally I like this original one... although a lot of people prefer the one with Timbaland...

Anyway this is the song that made me fall in love with OneRepublic...

It all started on a boring humid night while I was chatting with my buddies on messenger listening to the same boring tracks in my iTunes play over and over again...

So I asked KiKie..

Eh.. you got any nice songs to introduce? Really bored with my songs...

.. and she said..

Oh.. ok wait I go and see what I have..

and she sent me Apologize by OneRepublic...

and I was hooked..

So I started googling OneRepublic but at that time.. OneRepublic had not released their album nor was the Timbaland version of Apologize released and I was stuck with ONE song.

..and then a few weeks after that the Timbaland version started playing on the radios...
..and then I fell in awe of Ryan Tedder... (he plays the piano!!! <3)
..and then I heard stop and stare and fell in love with that song..

Aiyo long story short I love OneRepublic...

So I must must must must get this CD..
*if not I will die of OneRepublic deficiency*

So please... let me win...
