Firstly, to the people who planned this event... yes the people at Galaxy.. for heaven's sake it's CELINE DION!!!! How can you host Celine Dion's concert.. probably her first and last concert in MALAYSIA.. in Stadium Merdeka??!??! It's a Stadium.. where people have to seat on concrete platforms and plastic chairs on wet grass... WTF??
At least hold it in Arena of Stars.. or closer still.. Bukit Jalil? Or maybe a dinner show at the grand ballroom of some 5 star hotel... jeeezzz~! Plus the tickets cost a bomb! ..and we have to sit on wet chairs! ..on wet grass!!! *fumes*
Ok back to the concert...
The first turn off happened right at the beginning! The Sultan and Permaisuri were attending the concert.. as well as Najib and Mahathir and all those VIP's . There's nothing wrong with them turning up though.. the problem is... they turned up at 8.45pm.. when the concert was scheduled to start at 8.00pm...
... they made poor Celine wait backstage until they arrive... another WTF?!?! As soon as they arrive and sat down..Celine came on stage... those VIP's are pretty inconsiderate... make us wait for so long... it got so boring that the audience started doing mexican waves back and forth... and this is Celine Dion audience we are talking about... not some rock concert...
So Celine came on.. she opened with her song "I Drove All Night"..
This is a pretty long video because it was her first song and I got carried away recording...>.<
Then she continued with one of her most powerful ballads.. Power of Love.. no doubt her voice is still as powerful as it was around 10 years ago...
Next up is one of her new songs.. Taking Chances.. it's actually one of my favourites... haha..

To Love You More... ahhh.. the violin is lovely! The guy is super cool! He also plays the guitar in the band... and dunno what summore I forgot... Celine actually introduced him personally and said he was cute.. hahaha!
All by Myself... the part where she sang without accompaniment... that was amazing! You have to hear it live!
I'm Alive.. one of her more happy cheery songs... this is my maids favourite.. =X
I didn't catch the dude's name but he is one of her backup singers.... he also did a solo with the other backup singers halfway through the show...
Is this a new song? I'm not too sure myself... =P.. it's a nice song though! ..and and the guy playing the violin again!!!

..and ofcourse... as in my previous entry...
We Will Rock You.. a tribute to her favourite rock band (or so she says) Queen... after she performed this she also performed various Queen songs and some classic songs like R-E-S-P-E-C-T (I think) ..all of which I didn't record.. oops..
Ofcourse she had an encore... and I'm sure everyone knows what song that is lah! The song which needs no introduction... the song which my dad kept nudging me from the side making sure that I record the whole thing from beginning to end...
She even specially changed her clothes for this... heh!
In terms of her voice and songs and everything.. it was awesome!!!
..but... overall.. diva or no diva... I don't think it's worth the money lah...
I think paying 1500USD for the Las Vegas show is more worth it lah.. based on what my dad describe was in the DVD that is...
If you noticed she only changed clothes ONCE during the whole concert and that was only for the LAST song... and there were no effects.. or fireworks.. or colourful dancers or whatever..
Honestly... and I don't care what Behonce think... Jay Chou concert was waaaayyy more worth it... in terms of overall performance... and the crowd at Celine's concert was also very mediocre... I guess because majority of the audience are above 30 and stuff...
Oh wells...

I was googling her name one day... and I saw her profile picture in myspace... and omg?! The guy she was posing with was an ex-form 5 from my school...
She does look vaguely familiar... Was she previously from my school!??!?!

And on the Msian Dreamgirl, No, I don't know or remember her, nor do I actually give a damn. But one thing for sure, she is definitely NOT Malaysia's Dream Girl. Who cares if she is/was/maybe from SMKS9! Not like Norsham or Rosliyah gonna build a shrine for her!! If they wanna built a shrine, it should be in honour of me of being the one and only true bitch from SMSK9 (and you girls out there know that no one can out-bitch me, MR Behonce Beh, DIVA extraordinarie!)
