Yes, I watched the show... that is because I just found out Ringo Tan a.k.a Cheese got called back to be in the Top12.. yay!! I think it's just because I met her before in real life and I think she is pretty.. and nice.. and her dog is pretty... but then again if I meet all of them.. they will all be pretty and nice ...but they don't have pretty dog lah!
..and you know I'm so kepochi lah! I have to scrutinize each and everyone of their faces because you never know.. one of them could be my aunties neighbour's ex-wife's lesbian partner...

ahahha.. lame right! a uber Banana like me going into fan subbing.. I not fluent in Mandarin or Japanese or Korean and I wanna fansub.. hehehe...
at first I joined as a Quality Checker for the translations.. then I got interested in timing... so I downloaded Aegisub and tried timing and pwoooahhh! so cool! So now I'm asking the big boss whether I can time...
I am so geeky... but then this is like giving back to the society cos I always watch those tear jerking Taiwanese/Korea/Japanese dramas and I wouldn't have survived without the subs.. hahaha...

You know the Malaysian young author May Zhee.. the one who wrote Vanitee Bee at the age of 15 or something that I have read over and over again because I just love all this sarcastic humour! Well, I found May Zhee on jay-chou.net.. how coincidential is that!!! Then I found her on myJaysian.. she was one of the co-founders or something.. one of my favourite malaysian authors... or better still one of the ONLY malaysian authors I know is a avid Jay Chou fan... whoopee!
Then I found out she blogs too!! muahaha.. so now I have another sarcastically humorous blog to visit during my free time.. like her new post about American Idol Shopping Bags... ahahahha.... I'm still giggling about it..... I'm gonna buy May Zhee's new book tomorrow...

I want to go to Taipei... so I can see Taipei 101 and learn to speak Mandarin better and go to Shilin night market and eat the street food like the ones they sell at that shilin street food shop in OU and drive out to the Taipei country and visit Lin Kou where Jay grew up and eat the Jay set meal consisting of wantan and fried chicken which was his favourite at the shop owned by this old aunty which he visited regularly during the time he was studying...
and most of all!...
I WANT TO GO TO MR.J and SEE THE PIANO!! =P

I want a baby grand...
..but then we would have to move cos I can't possibly get a baby grand up to my tiny townhouse what more keep it there...
Therefore, a new upright would suffice...
I need a new piano lah! My old piano is like 100 years old.. but not in the nice way like the piano in secret... its the not nice way where the frequently used keys are stiff... the key for F# is loose.. and they are a horrible shade of faded yellow!!! ARGH!

..and the meaning of the song!!! wow! Vincent Fang is brilliant!!
Basically this song makes use of the metaphor of porcelain to describe love and separation. Separation doesn't always have to be painful and sad, it can be inscribed for life in memories and in the heart, just like paintings on porcelain, glazed and fixed for eternities. The pain and the sadness can pass with time, but the beauty of the love will always stay.
Like in the line 天青色等煙雨 而我在等妳 ( The perfect shade of blue awaits the right weather, like how I wait for you)..
天青色 is a very specific colour of the porcelain that can ONLY be created/set with great difficulty. The temperature of the kiln has to be perfect and the last day of the glazing HAS TO BE on a rainy day. Only then can it achieve that specific colour.
煙雨天 =Rainy Day
Which is why 天青色&煙雨 are inseparable, relating it to the 'me' & 'you' in the song. Which means that I can ONLY wait for you, and no one else. Nobody else will complete me as you do.
To be more exact in Vincent Fang's way of thought, it is the waiting that is the key point in this line. The shade of blue has to patiently 'wait' for the rainy weather, just as I can only wait for you...
..and then there is the line 臨摹宋體落款時卻惦記著妳 ( While I am imitating the Song inscription I'm thinking of you)
This line, literally translated above, actually means that even though dynasties have passed (in reference to Han Dynasty a few lines up), the memory and thought of you does not wane.

The use of the word 惹 veers from the usual negative implication it has. 惹 in normal usage means 'annoy; irritate'. However, in this instance, it means attracting or bringing forward something.
It has a much more aggressive implication than simply just bring 2 things together. In the first line, 惹 is used passively, as copper can only wait for the rust to form on it.. Yet in the second line, 惹 is used aggressively. It reflects from a few lines before 天青色等煙雨 而我在等妳 where I am passive. In this instance, I am active. There is a contrast here.
and then..潑墨山水畫 妳從墨色深處被隱去
潑墨山水畫 is special type of landscape painting....
潑墨 is the technique used. What happens is that the artist will splash some ink on the canvas, and very quickly use that splatter of ink to create a final landscape painting.
Like that..
and then 妳從墨色深處被隱去 talks about how the other party is gone (dead or otherwise), but she hasn't entirely vanished, only immortalized in the painting itself, the painting being a metaphor for the heart/mind. [credits to http://www.jay-chou.net]
