I spent the whole afternoon watching episode 5-11.. cried 10 litres of tears as well... this has got to be one of the most heart wrenching stories I have ever seen.. and for it to be real is just cruel... everyone go and WATCH!!
I'm going to 1Utama tomorrow because noone invite me for Deepavali open house... =(..

I have been bugging my j-drama and k-drama fanatic friend about introducing me to some new heart wrenching drama for me to cry over the school holidays... because I like to cry...

...reminds me of the time when I was faithfully watching Stairway to heaven on 8TV all those years ago.. and then calling Kristine jie.. and the both of us.. cry.. =X.. but that's a whole other story...
So I was chatting with that fanatic friend... and she mentioned about a drama called One Litre of Tears.. I didn't think of it much at first.. then while I was visiting my friend's blog.. she also mentioned about the same show.. now.. this friend... she ain't much of the crying type.. so if she CRIES means it HAS to be sad no?
So off I went to CrunchyRoll to watch this short 11 episode Japanese drama..

The story is an adaptation from the diary of a Japanese girl named Aya KitÅ who was diagnosed with an incurable disease, spinocerebellar ataxia, at the age of 15. I'm sure all the biology students know about this.. it's basically an illness whereby the nerves connecting the spinal cord and the cerebellum is slowly degenerating. Therefore, as the illness progressed she couldn't walk, talk, write, eat.. it's just sad lar...
The worst part is that while all this is happening her mind is still sane... she KNOWS how to do all these things.. only she can't control her own body...

So the drama basically uses the same names as the real life diary but with a different family... it revolves around the Ikeuchi family.. how Aya survives through her progressing illness.. being turned down by her senior, falling in love with her classmate Haruto... etc etc... in fact I'm not even done with the show yet.. I am only at Episode 5... and I think I cried 5 litre of tears already...

So for those of you who enjoy a good cry once in a while.. I definitely recommend One Litre of Tears.... it's so sad in a touching reality way.. not those typical 2 guys fight over 1 girl thing...
Go sign up at CrunchyRoll and watch it HERE..
