So I guess it's time for the hong kong update... haha... I just got the pictures last night so sorry for the one day delay. On the 2nd of June, a Saturday, all us sleepy piggies were forced up at 4.45 am in the morning to shower and get changed to catch our 7.30am flight... *groans*.. 4.45am.. hello?!!? There were 4 people going on this holiday.. my dad, aunty karen, sherly ( aunty karen's son's girlfriend) and me...
Off we skipped through the immigration counters...
...into the waiting area at the boarding gates....
...and of we go up into the sky!!

Pretty clouds..

..approaching the airport...

weee... we have landed!

Big airplane in the airport..

Daddy and Aunty Karen.. looks at the chairs in the airport.. soo... funky... =D

Look at that tree! Look!!
One of Aunty Karen's friend arranged for us to meet with this guy who will transport us to our hotel in Kowloon cos the airport is in a different island called Lantau Island... we had to wait like 1 1/2 hours at the airport for that guy to get himself together and another 2 hours on the bus cos we had to drop all the other passengers to their hotels and so suey our hotel was the LAST stop.... *grumbles*. So 2 hours on the bus means alot of time for scenery capturing...XD...
Hong kong is really really really really really REALLY dense.. all the buildings are build extremely close to each other and are really narrow.. in the cities like kowloon and hong kong island, the land is so expensive that hotels can't even afford to have those grand entrances that we have in KL. There are no parking spaces as well! You just stop on the main road and people get down and go into the building and thats the lobby liao! No drop-off's except for the most expensive hotel in town, The Peninsula which costs like 600USD a night, and even then the entrance is really really narrow...><. Sitting on the bus is really scary. There was one hotel (i think its called the Plaza something) where u had to go up those winding slopes like in those multi-story carparks to reach the entrance and the path is like wide enough for only 1 bus... but its a two way path.. so scary!! all the buses are like 5 cm apart from one another....=O. I was staying at Stanford Hotel which is not exactly in the town center.. its a really crappy hotel.. the rooms are small and the prices are really high but my dad says all the hotels in the city are like that... so yucks.. our hotel is in Mongkok which is near all the shopping districts ...

Look at all the signboards...

We = Guardian , They = Mannings

We found this at a lingerie shop.. haha...
We concluded that the most sucessful business is Hong Kong has to be advertisement.. just look at all the billboards and signboards... pwoahh... they even got all the ham sap advertisement... ><.. so open minded...
I have to censor the picture also...=.=
to be continued...
